Customer Review

This book is a delightful mix of anectdote, information, and inspiration. For all those dealing with life's tendency to pull the rug out from under us, it is a road map of how to turn what you may think is a nightmare into a real opportunity. It is a feel good book which makes you realise that every step through life, however traumatic has the capacity to teach us something. Andy is a fast learner, and through his written word, a damn good teacher. Everyone should be aware of the facts which put us at risk of stroke, but whether you need to bone up on the medical info or not,you should read this book anyway, because it's a gentle, humourous story of a remarkable man's recovery, and a ripping good read.

Customer Review

Essential reading as not only will you inevitably encounter someone who has suffered a stroke but it also includes practical advice on how to get the most out of life.

Customer Review

The book tells the story of a young man's courageous battle to overcome a life-changing stroke. Written with pathos, humour and much relevant information. A 'must read' for stroke victims, their families and friends.

Customer Review

A factual but very moving account of Andy's stroke and subsequent recuperation. His determination and sense of humour shines through all the horror and bewilderment he must have been feeling.

We knew Andy as a curly headed toddler when he and our daughter Sally were inseperable playmates -such happy memories. So it was with great shock that we heard of his stroke.

His story is poignant and compelling. His parents Dilys& Brian and his loved ones must be very proud of this remarkable young man. We send him our love and all good wishes for the future.
