What a good read, I did laugh a little to myself as well as being informed of some very helpfull tips and hints. And I'm able to tell my partner exactly what's expected of him...that got me a few more laughs. I would suggest this book for every bride to be it's a steal at the price.

This is such a funny book - its like the author read my mind! All possible scenarios are covered and an answer given to your queries... Have read an exert all members of the wedding party! My mums reading it now and finding just as funny and helpful ++++

A great quick read with plenty of tips on practical wedding planning - e.g. the dreaded table plan - and some solid advice on some of the more sensitive political issues around weddings. The style is light and rather amusing. As always one size does not fit all and this author seemed to have little faith in the husband-to-be helping out with the wedding planning or being reliable, but this was only a small feature of the book. Good timeline/planning list at the end.

I bought this book for a friend, hoping that it would help her plan her wedding. It appears to be more of an amusing read than a planning book. I expected it to have checklists etc but is more anecdotal. A few good tips but I have ended up buying a wedding organiser for her as well as this book.

Read this in one night - and although I am at the beginning of the planning process - it made me laugh out loud, and I reckon it will be well-thumbed by the big day and beyond!!

Agree with the other reviewers, it is not very focussed on the actual planning - but is a great accompaniment to a countdown planner.
