Hey everyone. I'm her cause I just feel stuck at this point . Me and my boyfriend have been together 4 years now, we haven't always communicated correctly or been the best to each other, but we have been slowly getting through it together. Lately I've been feeling like my boyfriend is very insensitive to my feeling. He does certain things like snapping his teeth, sighing in exhaustion, and being super frustrated and snappy when I'm upset about something and start crying . The arguments always end in my boyfriend believing that he either needs to be right or I need to be right . He either firmly says he has a point in everything or just drops everything and sarcastically says I'm right and he's wrong. I don't want anyone to be right I just want him to be more comforting and understanding but he doesn't seem to get that at all . Any advice ?

He should care if you are upset and if he's just being snappy with you instead that really shows a lack of respect towards you and the relationship. It can be really upsetting opening up to people about problems and your partner should be comforting and the one who helps you through it all. Maybe explain to him how you have been feeling about his actions and if he response with the same ones then I would really question the point of the relationship at this moment in time.
