Hi! Before you ask, I'm young - 16. I had been dating a guy since I was 14, he 15, and we broke up 4 months ago. We had been sexually intimate at the time we were dating, and although I do not regret making the choice to give him my virginity, for the 8 months that we tried, I was only attracted to him, honestly, several times. If I could go back, I wouldn't change him being the one it happened with, I would just change when it happened and how often it happened. We really loved each other, and you're probably wondering why I'm posting this when we broke up.. but honestly, I'm just trying to figure somet things out. Is it possible that I just haven't hit my hormones yet, or is it just him that I'm not attracted to? I've never really been sexually attracted or charged by anybody at all, so that leads me to make the conclusion that I was just too young and probably should have waited. Any thoughts?

Hi. I'm a 15-year-old and I haven't been in a relationship yet, but I think I can help you with this one. In this time and age, there is nothing wrong with losing your virginity at our age. If you don't regret it, than be happy, there are a lot of girls out there who do. Let it go. You loved each other, that's important. You probably have hit your hormones, that won't be a problem. Being attracted to someone sexually is (I think) mostly mental. If you like someone who fits you personality-wise, but not physically, then sexual attraction can be temporary or suddenly. There's nothing wrong with that. What someone looks like is often the factor that counts when you start liking him. But is often certain actions that make us sexually attracted to a boy. That's why 'bad boys' are often hot. They are determined and dominating, which is due to revolution an inescapable attraction. Romance is fun, but it isn't always attractive. That's probably what happened to you. And as I'm as old as you, I think I can say that you were old enough. Look for sexual attraction with another type. Someone truly confident is your best bet. I hope I helped, and just ask me if you have a question. Good luck
