Seeking advice on confusing flirtation

So this guy I know has been a bit flirtatious with me. For example, when he sits down across from me, he sits quite close so that his feet touch mine and he'll leave them there for a bit. He’s squeezed my shoulder, touched my hand, touched my knee (if I recall), given me hugs (he initiated), complimented me, stood over me close to me, asked about my relationship status, etc. I’ve caught him looking at my boobs and my lips once or twice. He just gives a flirtatious vibe, gets into my personal space, etc. He's also told me that he enjoys my company and that I "always look nice." The last time I saw him he wiped an eyelash off my face and then gently placed his hand on the side of my face. I don’t even think anyone’s ever done that to me before. I sort of swooned and it caught me off-guard. The crazy factor here is that he is my medical doctor!! Now, if any ordinary guy did these things, I know what I would think. But in this situation, his behavior is a little more confusing. However, at the end of the day, he is still a man, right? Based on what I have written, do you think he likes me? Am I wrong to think that his behavior is highly unusual? What do you think he wants from me? I get so "in my head" about this that I find it a hard situation to process. Considering that I like him back, how can I progress things further? I have no way to reach him outside of the office, either. I am also shy and risk averse so it's hard for me to be forward about how I feel.

Your doctor is acting very unprofessionally. I wonder if he's giving your *actual health* the attention he should, especially given your narrative, which implies you see him often. Find another doctor for your medical treatment, then ask this man out. It's the 21at century, we can do that.

I think the advice above is very correct! You should keep flirting with him outside of his job duties. What he does doesn't look professional.

The doctor's behavior can be called strange. And yes, it's better to remember the boundaries in communication.

May I ask your age? His behavior, as you state it here, is very unprofessional. But these actions may be exaggerated in your mind, since you have a crush on him and you “ “think” he acted in a way that may be very suggestive. Find another Dr and then you will be free to pursue this relationship, whatever you feel it might be. But you must not continue to be his patient since there are ( according to you) boundaries being tested.
