What should I do?

I have been seeing this guy for 2 months he just got out of a 20-year relationship because he cheated on her throughout their 20-year relationship. He said he changed that he will never cheat on anyone ever again. I believed him at first but it is hard to trust him when he is always making jokes about him being with other girls. He keeps saying we need to split up so that I could work on my jealousy. That my jealousy is the reason we can't be in a relationship. I tell him it's because of his past cheating reputation and the stupid jokes about women he makes.

He keeps saying we need to split up so that I could work on my jealousy - It does not seem like he is willing to prove that you can trust him. Truth is - has he been rewarded for 20 years for cheating? - Did he got what he want - to cheat AND be in a decent relationship at the same time?

Hi, There is no he could have changed if he’s just got out of a 20 year relationship with someone who he cheated on. He spun you a line with he’s changed and wouldn’t ever do it again to anyone else. Easy for him to say it. He doesn’t sounds trustworthy, as you have noticed, with his so called jokes and blaming you by telling you your jealous. Listen to your instincts it sounds like he’s a toxic, manipulative person.

WOW I never thought about it like that I am rewarding him by being with him. He doesn't deserve me
