When in doubt, get out so they say! In search of outside advice. LONG story Short my fiancé and I are engaged to be married in a couple months and Im having a lot of doubt. Its sort of one of them when I loved him he didn't love me and then by time he decided to start trying I was so far gone that Im having a hard time bringing myself back. He has been physically and mentally abusive to me and I don't know if I can keep truckin forward. I do love him very much but sometimes I wonder if its just not enough anymore. Some people say now hes trying not to hold everything against him move forward but what do you do when you feel like he literally destroyed the love you had for him???

If you're having doubt during an engagement BREAK IT OFF! It sounds like a push-pull relationship which isn't a strong foundation. There is only so long you can go holding onto the cracks before everything falls apart and if one of you has to be running for the other one to chase then it's more of a game than a relationship.

I agree, Your words even sound sad. You are clearly not happy in this relationship even though you want it to flourish for the better. Holding on to what happened in the past with the abusive behavior will only make things worse. People who love each other do not physically and mentally abuse the person they want to spend the rest of their life with. They support each other while watching themselves grow within loving, understanding arms.
