How do / will I know how she feels

This is very unlike me, but it has been eating at me for 2 years now.. when I was a freshman, I went to my homecoming football game, when I got there I ran into one of my old "GFs" when I was in 5th grade. it was awesome we reconnected really quickly an we could just see it in eachothers eyes that we have unconditional love for eachother..highschool went on (while she was homeschooled) an me being the young dumb immature guy I was, I had slept around, just trying to earn that cool guy reputation or whatever.. embarrassing but true... we would fight on an off but always come back to eachother.. then after highschool I decided to move to texas with my other side of the family to kinda change it up a bit. When I did me an her broke up after a month of me being away, an we were on our own paths.. yes it still upset me that I had made immature decesions that I knew I would have to pay for, but that was in 2011... its now 2014 an there is not a day that goes by without me thinking of her.. I honestly cant see myself with anyone else later on in life. im currently stationed in south korea, so it kinda makes it worse being alone I guess but I still have that question on how she feels.. we chat every once in awhile but very shortly, we had lunch right before I came but I still have that feeling of we both still have a lot to say to eachother but how can someone give another person a chance again after they had done such horrible things as me.. yes I believe ive matured a bit an I still am in love with her clearly I just need more guidance on what I should do realistically... sorry about the novel but that's been building up lol.

All you can do (from where you are and where she is) is to stay in contact with her by message/skype. You have a lot to prove to her. You need to express HOW you have changed and your goals for the future. Remember: you are away from home and yearning for past feelings and this girl comes up as a pleasant memory. Be sure you are realistic about your "love" - after all, it was a long time ago. You can't close yourself off to the future. PS - be sure that SHE has changed for the better, too.
