Confused in a relationship that isn't even official
I am in a relationship that isn't even official yet because my guy and i want to do it face to face which I have no objections in and we also call eachother "boyfriend" "girlfriend" "babe" "honey" "boo" and more. And he is a great guy to me, we dont know eachother for that long its a bit over 6months but we started getting to know eachother for 5 months and for 3 months we got really close like sex close and talked about our family things and such. And I felt like i can literally be myself with him, you know doing those embarrassing things like weird sound affects. And before I knew he liked me he would make me breakfast in bed and he would always use the excuse of being my alarm clock to see me and i loved that because what girl wants a guy to see how she looks literally right after waking up. And lately things have been going down the drain because he reminds me of the things i need to get done and i haven't started them and he feels like he wasted his time talking to me about the things i need to get things done because i dont listen. But i told him its not easy to just start everything, it's taking me time. And i just dont know if i failed him. Did i fail him?
Another thing, if he does anything with another girl does is it considered cheating? Because we aren't official we just assumed we weren't seeing anyone else.
Mmm, I don't quite understand this situation. You say before you become official you want to "do it face-to-face" Yet you're already face to face? Unless your implying sex or something a long those lines, which I don't see why that would be a needed thing to be done to pin-point a relationship.
6 months is a pretty good lengthy period of time I think to know someone. It makes a good solid ground for a relationship. I know those "weird sound effects" very well, I make them all the time :P.
Him reminding you of things you need to get done is a good thing really. Since they *need* to be done and he's concerned since they aren't done. If you're doing everything you physically can do to get these things done and you can't do them any better, then there is no real issue. And you haven't really failed him, since these things you need to get done are your own responsibility. He shouldn't need to majorly worry over them, but he should certainly care and push you to do them. If he's pushing you when your deadlines for these things are let's say in a months time, in which you have plenty of time to do them, then again there is no issue. Depends how vital these things are. However I don't think he should feel sad if you don't do them when he requests you to, since you're in control of what you do in your own time. That is your responsibility, ultimately anyway.
This cheating component is weird. You need to establish, if you're actually in a relationship. Is it just a hidden one? Have you two made statements that show your are going to be committed to one another? Assume you call each other girlfriend and boyfriend, then one assumes that you are in a relationship, just not an officially announced one? If you two have made committed statements to each other, then I'd say it would be cheating.
However, if not, then it technically wouldn't. If he hasn't said anything like that, implying he would be with you for a long time or that he's romantically into you. It all depends on if this commitment is established between the both of you basically. Your vows to be with one another, to agree your options are closed. If he has never said anything to this effect, it's not cheating, if he has it is.
To me though if you call each other girlfriend and boyfriend I have to assume this means your committed and in a relationship, that just isn't made official yet.
I hope that helped, good luck with your relationship and have a wonderful day
He is getting to know you - besides the lovey talk and the sex - and he is looking at other aspects of your personality.
He is troubled by your inability to get things done. He seems to not like that about you. He is getting tired of reminding you of thises things and waiting for you to show ambition.
Is getting things done a problem for you? Are you a procrastinator? or lazy? or disorganized and overwhelmed?
