Legal advice So I bashed into a car a while back and I didn't do anything a I didn't see any damage (I'm an idiot I know) I have been charged etc and of course this person will claim against me, however the process was taking so long and I had sold my car, I'm still paying insurance for the time being. I was wondering if it's safe to cancel it? Will the person still be able to make the claim if I do? What should I do?

As long as your coverage was in force the date of the accident you are covered. You may have trouble though getting different insurance if necessary though. Hope that helps!
