Starting life in a whole new world
Stepping out one day into a whole new world. Free from all the stress of family. I stayed with a friend of mine and for the first couple of months, we were fine. Happy as can be. Than, she got surgery and she was asking me to do more. Pay more as well. She started telling me how horrible I was with keeping the house clean. I thought I was keeping it clean. Apparently I was not and I was breaking promises left and right. This freaked her out and put stress on me. It started to effect my life and who I truly was. Now, I have moved out of that situation and have a clearer head. It was both of our fault for miscommunication. I learned that if you are going to live with a person, communicate everyday if possible. Don't hide anything. Communication is the key in everything you do.
I'm not blaming her for anything and I'm not blaming myself. I'm not that type of person. However, we should of told each other what we needed and make sure that we were both clear about what we need everyday. I advise to those just about to go into a unknown world on your own, make sure you know where you are going, what you are going to do, and talk to someone you really trust and talk to each other constantly. If you are going to live with them, make sure you communicate everyday and not hide anything.
I agree with everything that you posted. I think that it is really difficult to live with another person and for that reason I (for the most part) have lived by myself. I find it easier. I wish the best of luck to you and hope you find happiness!
Well nutshelled, REDROSE1118!
QFT, as I found, it all depends on whether that person (because you've finally picked well) is 'you-with-boobs' and you 'her-with-a-dangley' (or vice-versa). Because, just like you say - living WITH YOURSELF is easier.
