'Hot chick' a husband's regular lunch spot

Last week my husband received a text message but was washing his hands. He asked me to see who it was. It was a co-worker. In reading him the text, I noticed the text above from earlier that day. My husband and his co-workers often go to the same spot for lunch (4 guys). The text goes as follows: Co-worker: Hey! that hot chick you like is waitressing today Husband: Oh really? Send me a picture Co-worker: Uh...no From my point of view, the fact that my husband is even talking to his co workers about the fact that he thinks she's hot is disrespectful. Both to me and our marriage. Two...HE ASKED FOR A PICTURE!!! He said its just him and the guys talking smack at work and there is nothing behind it because they are all married too. I am seriously bent out of shape about this and I told him that I thought it was disrespectful. he said I am over-reacting and I should drop it. Guess where he went to lunch today? Same spot to see the hot chick that works there and I am suppose to be ok with that. What are your thoughts?

I must say that I completely agree with you . You see, men have always the same excuses for the same sort of behaviour that sooner or later they will all display . Once someone is committed , especially when married, if loyal , you won't start chasing waitresses around but dedicate yourself to your wife . I understand your anger and dispointment and I'm sure that what is making it worse for you is that he's telling you that you are over reacting . Damn right you are ! I know that to some people this is just normal , but my advice is that you talk to him , watch him more carefully for a while , and make sure he's not up to something else . Better safe than sorry ! Good luck ! Goi

I suggest you insist on meeting him for lunch - at that special place - today. See what all the fuss is about. I have a feeling she's young and he's just one of many oogling at her. If you get the feeling of sparks flying BOTH ways, then you can be concerned. Right now, it's just locker-room talk.

I have talked to him. I told him that I felt disrespected and that my feelings were hurt and again he just dismissed it. He even went back to work and told his co workers that I had seen the message and told his coworker that he 'got him in trouble'. They had a good laugh about it. Today he and his coworkers were in the work truck together when I called to give him an update on an appointment I had earlier in the day and I asked if he was on his way to lunch. He said no but that they were thinking about going to that very restaurant again today. I hear all his buddies laughing in the background.I sarcastically said "tell your girlfriend that your wife says hi". He said that he was just joking but I don't find it funny in the slightest. the fact that I am sitting there while all his coworkers are laughing at me and he is presenting me to his coworkers (people I have never met) as a controlling, jealous, bitch; I do not find funny at all. that is not who I am and how am I suppose to feel when I finally do meet them? UNCOMFORTABLE because I know that they already have opinions about me that are untrue.
