Emotional advice Hi im in a situation where I found out that my girlfriend of 7 years and best friend had intentions to be intimate the way I found out is by my 1 friend saying he could see them flirting while we were all together at a party so with that info I went thru her phone and there it was she sent him messages saying she loves him and she couldnt wait to be with him,i then confronted her and she blamed it on drinking to much and she said it was a mistake and that she doesnt have any feelings for him,i confronted my former best friend and he denied everything I swiftly ended the relationship with my friend though coz I knew he wasnt being honest with me so what I would like to know is do I continue my relationship with my girlfriend or do I end it and start fresh.

How is she with you? I had something similar happened to me, and she denied it as well. Was she drunk when she said those texts? I would try to find out if your gf is really happy with you, are you guys ok? Have u had any issues lately? 7 yrs is quite a long time and you love but not in the same way as you did on year 1 or 2, love gets transformed into other things that you do for each other. TLk go her find out what she thinks about your relationship.

She sent him messages "I love you and can't wait to be with you" Was she drunk every time she texted him? Please!
How certain are you that the deed wasn't carried out? Do feel she is really remorseful or just sorry she got caught? You both need have a clear understanding of your expectations going forward, she must do everything to gain your trust back.

All pass words for cell phones/internet/email accounts are shared with each other (no secrets). If she's going out drinking- the only person she''s drinking with is YOU?

After being together for 7 years, what's kept you from marrying her? For your daughter's sake I would consider giving her a second chance.
