One of the most effective things you can do yourself is focus on the positive things that happen to you every single day.
This requires very little time at all and requires no skill, so anyone can do it!
All you have to do is note down all of the good things that happen to you that day, no matter how small the good deed may have been.
It can be something as small as someone saying "Good morning" or holding the door open for you at work or as you enter a shop.
At the end of the day, revise all of the good things that have happened to you, and it will start to make you look at life in a positive light as you start to look out for positive events instead of just focusing on the negative!
Feeling unworthy is something what people with low self esteem tend to feel, and there is a great way that you can help to combat this.
Start by setting yourself a very small goal that is achievable, for example saving up enough money out of your monthly wage to buy something for yourself that you want, for example some perfume or a pair of trainers.
Then, start to make the goals more challenging, for example getting up to the microphone on a karaoke night or completing a charity run event.
By completing these goals you will start to gain more self confidence and believe that you can achieve more!
It is true what they say - when you look great, you feel great.
Working on yourself is great way to raise your self esteem levels and besides many criticism, it does not require a lot of money.
By simply washing yourself every morning, grooming your hair and dressing neatly it can drastically improve your self esteem levels.
