When is it time to settle down

Just asking for some guidance, I'm 28 years old and I also struggle with extreme over thinking. I just wanted to hear some opinions of this forum, I enjoy my single life, I enjoy being able to do what I want. I spend a majority of my weekends at the bars or going on trips. I have a good job and no kids and am just really enjoying life right now. The only issue is my conscience makes me feel guilty and feeling like people look down on me because I'm doing these things instead of the whole marriage thing right now. Every time I meet a girl I never let it get too serious because frankly I'm not ready to give up all my freedom yet and being able to do what I want. I guess my question is should I feel guilty about not wanting to be settled down yet? Also do these priorities usually change when you meet the right girl or will i keep keeping things casual in favor of the single life? Thank you in advance.

No, you don't feel guilty because you're not ready to settle down, in fact, some people don't meet their life partner until they are 50 and still single. There's no general life rule which states that you have to be married with a mortgage, wife and kids by the age of 30 although in some cultures it's an expectation or a requirement. When you meet the RIGHT girl, everything will happen because she'll walk beside you, share your life goals and your values and you will be each other's priority. You will instinctively know that she's the one and you won't have time to worry about your freedom because she'll be a major part of your freedom. Rest assured, you'll be just as happy as you are now, if not happier, when she does come along. There's no time frame when this will happen and the meantime, you need to just keep on doing what makes you happy.
