Why can't I get over her

I met this girl at the age of 15 and we dated till i was 17... i'm now nearly 20 and she still runs through my mind. I treated her like shit and i never changed my ways till i grew up and now look back at it and regret so much. It's weird though everytime i go through something or am down i see her pass me that day in her car , this has happened multiple times , is it meant to be .. idk how i could fix things but yeah I dated somebody after her who was a cheater and a manipulator always turning things back on me . Which makes it harder for me to get over the previous one ( who i dated for two years)

Maturity is quite an asset, isn’t it? I admire your new consciousness and appreciation you have for others. Not only is it good for you, it is very good for any new relationship in which you will be involved. I’m not sure if your post suggests your past girl friend, who you cannot forget, is still approachable. If she is, have you thought about it with an apology and hat in hand? People do change with maturity and if there was anything positive between you two previously, she may want to try again. If not, apply your new insight and respect for others with your new relationships and things should work out well for you. Keep us informed how this new line of attack works for you.
