I suspect my boyfriend might be thinking of cheating on me

I found my boyfriends backpack in the garage. I opened it, and found a opened box of condoms with all condoms there. I asked why he had condoms in his backpack in the garage and he said he had them in his truck and moved them into the garage. I asked him when he bought the condoms and he said in May 2017, when I was not on any birth control. I told him that I want proof of when he bought them, and he said he doesn't remember. I don't know what to do, was he planning on cheating on me? Or em I overreacting?

Hello Alma, I think the base of every relationship is trust. If you have so little trust on your partner, I would suggest you check where is that relationship going. I mean, opening the backpack out of the blue? Checking to see "what you can find". for me that would be extreme jealousy and a reason for immediate termination of the relationship, since it shows there is no trust or respect for the other. So, let's give you a few questions to get a clearer picture here. 1.- For how long have you been together? 2.- Has he ever cheated before? How many times? How did you find out? 3.- Do you have any plans for the future together?

Hello Alma! A woman's instinct is never wrong. Trust me. But yes if you trust him then give him one chance and if something similar happens then it will be time to end it. Cheaters will never agree to the truth and they will keep denying it and try to make you feel guilty for doubting them. Give him one chance and that's it. If it happens again then don't waste anymore time with him.
