Love language confusion

I have been in a relationship for almost 8 years now. We love each other deeply. But sadly, I am way more affectionate than him. If I don't initiate a kiss I don't get one. Sex isn't 50/50 more like 80/20. I feel like it's getting worse lately. I talk to him about how I feel but he just shuts the conversation down and tells me I'm being dramatic. I'm lost on what to do, I know he loves me but not the way I wish he did. What should I do?

What was it like in the first year? And the second? And after that? You're not being dramatic, by the way. He's being dramatic by accusing you of being dramatic (see how that works?). I'd have just thought you were being pragmatic and sensible in your quest to preserve the health and survival of your relationship by dealing with what is a problem for you ERGO A PROBLEM FOR THE RELATIONSHIP. So would anyone intelligent and healthy. So... Back to my first three questions?
