Female for female advice please

Hello peoples problems happy holidays. I am a 64 yr old mature woman with a personal female related question requesting genuine input only from other women please. I was just at the GYN for my annual check and all is going good except for sometimes having the usual issues in that area. My GYN is a woman and she suggested that I could remove all of my hair there to help with the feminine hygiene. I have always maintained my hair there to be short but never fully removed all of my hair completely. I feel awkward at my age to be that way. I suppose I am reluctant to be a grown woman almost in my mid 60's and have no hair there at all and apprehensive of how I will look and feel in that respect. Seeking advice or information from other women my age range or any for that matter. Thank you!

I didn't either. Maybe it is an age thing Susie. What is your age can I ask? Anyway I did not remove mine however the topic came up unexpectedly with a close male friend he is almost like a brother who is 60 divulged to me that he removes almost all (90%) of his by shaving and his reasoning was hygiene and comfort so I cant figure it out besides personal preference. Thank you for your answer.
