Used me

I was engaged to a man that used me for citizenship. We were together 2 and a half years. We went through ivf (which failed) but were going to try again. In November last year he got citizenship, (paid for by my family)got his passport in January and February told me je was going to visit family in America for 2weeks. He needed the British passport as he couldn’t travel on his egyptian one. The day before he was due to come back he rang to say he wasn’t coming back. I was angry but thought hey you’re over the other side of the world. Then 2 days ago he turned up at my house telling me he missed me and couldn’t stay away from me and my kids. Stupidly I let him back in. Then the next morning he told me he couldn’t be with me because I can’t bare his child (we had another round of ivf planned). He clearly knew this before knocking my door. So why come back? Just to be cruel? I feel like an idiot for letting him back, he used me again. Messed with mine and my kids heads, because I allowed him

Don't beat yourself up for having a hopeful heart. But now that you know better you can do better. I agree with SUSIEDQQ that you should be grateful you don't have a child with him. Because let's face it- he's obviously still a child himself. You deserve much better. If you find what you were meant to learn through this heartache, you'll find yourself in a happier place. Regardless of relationship status. Take some time and focus on yourself and your kids, and heal your heart? <3
