Should I see him

So I meet this guy a few months ago and he's really sweet although I must admit I didn't have the strongest connection with him.He has been texting me and it's been going well,but there's a problem.My friend really liked him and slept with him.Although we aren't going out I feel a bit betrayed.I confronted him on it and he said he was off his face but really only wants to get to know me.Do I see him and give him a chance or ignore him.
