New relationship for the older woman

on July 2016 I met him through an online dating site, at that time he was separated from his wife. Their marriage had fallen apart several years ago, were sleeping in separate bedrooms. July 2015 they had an almighty row, she packed her bags & left. July 2016, we started out as companions for outings & meals out, which then developed into a full blown relationship as we fell in love with each other. June 2017 the wife moved back into the matrimonial home but they continued to live separate lives, sleeping in separate bedrooms. She has apparently been verbally abusive towards him & continues to be. I suggested that he came to live with me, but he didn't take up my offer. Our relationship began to falter, I barely saw him & our love-life became non existent. I have tried breaking up with him on several occasions but the "heart wants what the heart wants" - I want him to be with me permanently, he says he wants that too. I am now struggling to see how this will end.

I agree with Bunnyhabit, you're the side chick. Actions always speak louder than words " he says he want to be with you because he knows this is what you want to here. The sooner you except he is a married man who is not available the sooner you can move on. This is what its like dating a married man.

Has anybody dated BBW ? What are they like, what should one expect from them?
