I am in high school and I like this girl in my History class and we are friends. Here is a current overview of our current situation: -I'm gay and she's gay -I think she likes me too -She is my partner on all of our history assignments and helps me with my work -She is best friends with my sort-of-ex-girlfriend (we are friends again) -She SO cute -I think about her and being with her all the time in class (she sits next to me) -She has a cute laugh, face, smile, clothes, blue eyes, pink hair, she's super smart, and nice, and funny, and likes to draw too -She always waits for me to get my stuff before we leave for lunch (I take a long time) -Then the other girl (my sort-of-ex) meets us outside and conversation dwindles -I have a plan to ask her out tomorrow -I'm scared she won't want to be my friend after she knows I like her (that happened last time) -I really want a relationship -Prom is coming up -other girl may still like me -I am VERY confused Please help me! Should I go for it, and how?

Okay, listen. I only read the beginning because the rest of your OP are reasons as to why you Like her - which does not matter to me. Gay, or not gay, all fruitful relationships come from firstly, Speaking up on wanting something more than friends. It's called communication. Don't do it on text or call. In person, like a normal human being. Just say look, this is the situation, this is how I'm feeling, these are my expectations, now how do you respond? Etc.

Hi, I can understand what you are going through. I used to be the same while I was in High school, actually I was the same until I was in College. But In college, I met a guy, whom I really liked. He was smart, intelligent, funny. He was everything I wanted in a guy. I never talked to him, just watched him from a distance. I didn't even try to talk to him, I was too scared of being judged. I thought he was straight, but turned out he was also gay. I have regretted not to talking him, not expressing what I felt for him. I always find it hard to open up. But, I finally found my 'the one' through a gay dating service- https://www.bespokematchmaking.com/ as it is very difficult for me to open up and express my feelings. So, from my personal experience, the key is talking, open up and tell how you feel...
