Sex vs Making Love

The past two long-term boyfriends that I've had never made love to me.. they only ever wanted to have rough sex. My idea of making love is intimacy, looking into each other's eyes, going slowly, telling each other how much you mean to them and it's an outlet to express the way you feel towards someone. Am I wrong about this? How does making love feel like? Or does making love just have the same meaning as sex? The type of sex that I've had with my two boyfriends is doggy style, not looking into my eyes, and rough and just very porn like. I crave to make love and have intimacy, however this just seems to stay a fantasy of mine. Do couples actually make love or do they all just have sex...? How common is making love in a relationship? Also what does it mean for a guy to only ever want to have rough sex and never wants to make love to you? The boyfriend that I'm currently with (my second boyfriend) is perfect in every single way and my ideal man except for the fact that he's never made love to me and I don't know if I can be married to a man that I never made love with. But at the same time I'm not sure if making love is only in movies and if I'd be losing out if I broke up with him. Please help.

Hey, I think it's different with each couple. But I agree with you, s*x shouldn't be rough (ouch) and too fast all the time, coz then it will make it seem like he's just satisfying himself and leaving you unsatisfied, so tell him and show him, what you want and maybe instigate s*x a bit more . He should listen to you. It doesn't sound like you've got someone who is selfish and it's all about him. If he's perfect in every other aspect then give him a chance.
