Is there no women who appreciate a man who makes major sacrifices for there spo?

What ever has happened to the loyal, appreciative women? To give you a idea of why I ask I was married for 7 years and my wife of the time got into some trouble,with her brother and was looking at prison time. I couldn't stand the thought of her undergoing it,so I stepped up the way I felt a husband should,Long story short I begged a friend who was the state attorney to allow me to take the charge,so she wouldn't have to deal with it. She had never been in trouble and would have lost the rights to her kids from a previous marriage,1 year into my sentence she divorced me.now she wants back in my life,what should I do? I thought it would be appreciated was I wrong for that?

Frankly, I have a hard time believing any State Attorney would agree to what you've described. It is against the law and he could be disbarred and indicted for doing it.
