Confused

My partner of almost a year has decided he wants more time on his own,all the activities we did together no longer happen as he is wants to concentrate on his own hobbies. He has told me that he comes first in our relationship and he always will do as life is too short. Am I being 'selfish' (his word) expecting him to put me first sometimes.

We are both in our 50s, so we should know what we want we want, it's not easy to meet someone you think you can share the rest of your life with at our age. Thank you for your comments, it's given me something to think about.
