Is chemistry necessary to a relationship?

Greetings... Im in a long distance relationship right now for a month. Im a filipina, he is german. We are both on our early 50's. This guy is very kind. Very calm, patient, honest, starightforward, responsible. I can say 70% of what im looking for a guy is with him. I know he is serious about marriage and i know he loves me. The problem is with me. As the days goes by i already find it boring while im talking to him. Im no longer excited for his calls and messages. Maybe because his topic does not interesting to me like politics, climate change, history, world war 2, etc... I tried diverting topics which im interested but it still go back to the issues he like. I can feel that we dont have chemistry. But if he cannot keep in touch for more than 12 hours i feel upset. I dont want to loose this guy for the fact that he is the only person who accepted me for who i am. Please tell me what to do... Thank you and God bless....

Hey some time if you connect with someone you just contact did different topics to talk about... when he mentions politics t.v. say not this again lol in a joking way ... you should not loose him over that I just as confused as you been with this guy 12 month no commitment etc but very close now her met some one from different country Brazil or Thailand I think and he is falling in love with her and said she is with him he said she will be with be here soon after I pass my chef exams and get a pay rise were getting a place together after a week now he want to cut me out all yo gether after us been sort of together and knowing him for 4 years .. I cnt help think coz he loanly etc and want to be loved he might get hurt also he keeps I don't know if he just saying this to hurt me ... we're both in a per ticket her .. if you really like him just find some common ground I alway think you should be able to say look let chat about something else like food or hand bags haha xx
