Had a lot going, may have screwed it up. Need some guidance!

Hey guys, I'm a 27 year old male that's been working in the oil and gas industry for 5-6 years now. I have had a great paying career, company vehicle, and housing. I just started a new job 4 months ago, pretty much the same job just another company. Recently I was pulled over and arrested for a DUI (I know, I'm an idiot). I hired a lawyer who managed to get it knocked down to a reckless driving, however I still will be losing my license for 6 months. I can apply for a restricted workers permit after a mandatory 30 day no license at all, but will require a 24/7 alcohol monitoring where I check in at 7am and 7pm for a breathalyzer at the court house. If I don't apply for a temp license no monitoring is needed. I'm almost certain my new company will fire me if they find out, even just a reckless. I also work 7-7 everyday, with a half hour drive just to get there. I have informed my old employer of my entire situation, and they are willing to hire me back (they are a much smaller company and reasonable), depending on my temp license restriction. HERE'S THE TWIST: I've always wanted to go travel the world long term between jobs. Is this my right time? I am dating a girl long distance right now the past 6 months, and she's also between jobs, however she has no money. I happen to have about 90,000 saved up and have 6 months left on my lease. So my options I think are: 1. Don't tell my current employer, risk driving without a license so I can get to work and just wait it out until I find something else or they find out with periodic background checks. 2. Quit now, and hopefully my old employer hires me back. But what if they don't? 3. Quit, and look around for other jobs that a reckless won't matter until it all blows over? 4. Go travel. (I would have to pay for my gf too and plus cover my remaining lease). I'm not even sure what I'm asking, just looking for advice or some guidance.
