I don't know what to do

So...if fallen for my best friend. We recently became friends with benefits and now iv found out he likes someone else. I know for a fact that nothing is going to happen with the 2 of them because of personal circumstances but I can't shake of the jealousy. I have really bad anxiety about it too. I dont want to loose my friendship but I dont know how to get back to normal. Should I put some distance between us or shall I just ride it out and see what happens? Thanks in advance!

I’m in love with my best friend but due to his circumstance our relationship could not be pursued romantically anymore which has broken my heart as we were so close. We are going to try and remain friends but I am struggling to be around him knowing he does not want the relationship anymore. It is hard but you need to ask him if he feels anything for you & if does do something about it if he doesn’t you may have to disconnect yourself from him for a while and let him realise what he is missing out but it will kill you being around him feeling how you do if he doesn’t feel the same.
