Why would my ex ask this

i was a bit of a controlling dick to my ex, we did no contact for a bit but then had a good conversation yesterday. i told her i herd her favorite song on the radio and how it made me laugh. then today she text me asking why when ever she (my ex) used to play it or sing it i got mad. (its a long story why i did ) but why would she be suddenly looking for answers ???
