Christmas and we're struggling financially

My husband and I are driving to another state to spend Christmas with kids/grandkids. We are struggling financially to the point that our son is paying for our gas for the trip down. I just can't get past the awful feeling that we can't afford presents for everyone. The kids say "Don't worry about it" but I feel like a terrible grandma. How can I get over this feeling and enjoy the holiday?

Yeah it might be a tradition but you need to listen to your kids..they want and need you there. Forget about presents, if you have your health then you have everything you need in life, afterall your kids and grandkids would rather have you guys there, in person, than receive gifts. If your kids say 'don't worry about it', then don't.
