Should I get over my boyfriend sexting another girl?

I found messages on his phone a week after we made it official (2 months since we met) asking another girl for nudes and saying how attractive she was. When she asked him he made excuses to not send. I didnt find these messages until a month after they were sent and he hadn't messaged anyone since then, so I forgave him and we have been together over a year now. Since then he hasn't even messaged another girl, am I silly to keep worrying about something that happened so long ago and so soon into the relationship? Its also worth noting that he has sacrificed a lot to be with me has since then and says he was immature and being so early into the relationship he didn't realise how special I was to him but felt awful about it for months. Besides this he is the nicest, kindest man I've ever met so should I just get over it now?

If you trust your man, have no need to check his phone now, have forgiven him and you're happy to be with him, then you should give it every chance by just getting on with life. Your relationship has already overcome one obstacle, because it's been 12 months since, so why be silly about it now. However, and respectfully, if you're still checking his phone, then it's your insecurity talking and it's dangerous to your relationship to do this, regardless of what he gave up and what sort of a person he is. The longer you stay with him, the longer he can prove to you by his actions, rather than his words, just how much you do mean to him and it'll be time plus these actions, that will dispel your insecurity...and your worrying.
