Is this considered abuse

The man i have been dating off and on for 11 yars in a toxic relationship is doing something im finding disturbing. I want to know if in anyones oponion is this abuse. I own my own home and car work a full time job.Lately, he has been jokingly referring to himself as the taliban man.He says hes joking but its affecting me as a woman.He now comes to my house calls my dog a taliban dog and says keep her in line when im not here. What is anyones oponion.
