Teacher-student feelings
RAJU - Jan 20 2021 at 19:02
I am a college teacher of 45 years of age and am married with two kids.
Recently, it came to my notice that a student of mine of age approximately 21 years has developed a feeling about me. In return, I have also developed the same feeling about her. But, my sense does not allow me to go ahead with this as I have a nice family and am a teacher of her.
Nowadays, I realize that she is becoming serious about me, but she does not disclose it (perhaps for teacher-student relationship). When I look at her eyes, I can see a lot of love and I feel myself guilty. As a teacher and a moral person, I am not able to approach her for a relationship.
Apart from a teacher and a parent, I am also a human being, that is why I can not decide anything.
So, kindly suggest me what I can do at this juncture.
Use some common sense, and ignore her. You are a happily married man, after all.
Hi RAJU The first thing you can do is accept your humanity. God wired us to be attracted to the opposite sex. This is a gift....but it does come with rules. I believe you have already recognized these rules. Your marriage is a promise you made. Your student is a fantasy. As exciting as this fantasy may be, stay clear of the thoughts of desire. This may be difficult. Your family can offer so much more in the long term, maybe even in the short term if you focus on new or different events with your wife and children. There is so much we often overlook in our marriages after a while. Psychologists say "romance" fades from a marriage after 36 months, maybe even sooner. It still exists but may take extra effort to rekindle and the exploration will be fun! This should help you to channel your thoughts and behaviors in more appropriate ways. But then you have already knew this.
Let us know how it goes. We are all interested in new and exciting ways to stimulate relationships......appropriate ones.
In life, it happens that at first glance everything is good. But then everything changes. There are small troubles one after another. Gradually, everything changes for the worse. As a result, life collapses, becomes unbearable. This is how our sins, small and large, manifest themselves. Everything we have done in the past affects our future. What should I do in this situation? To ease the suffering of the soul, to save it. It is necessary to be freed from past sins. It is not necessary to carry such a burden as past sins. It's better to get rid of it. This can be done on the website found-salvation.com. Many people make their lives easier this way. It really helps.
