Do I like my best friend?

(English is not my first language so if my grammar sucks I’m sorry :) ) First some background information: I have been friends with this guy A for about 8 years and we’ve become best friends about 1,5 years ago. I’m also really good friends with another guy B for about a year. The problem is when we are both (very) drunk, we have a habit of “touching” each other. It started with just handholding and “feet rubbing” (I don’t know the English word) but lately it gets a little more intemate (like hugging but in a more sexual way and he has touched my boobs). We don’t really talk about this when we’re sober. I notice that I miss that feeling he gives me when he touches me when I’m sober and I even long for it. My problem is I really really don’t want to screw up our friendship (because he is legitimately my best friend) but these feelings kinda grow stronger. And now I don’t know what tot do... (Also this guy B really liked to cuddle when he’s drunk, but with him hugging feels really different and I prefer to not do it. This also gives me the idea that I maybe like guy A) So my question basically is do you guys think I like him and if so do I need to do something about it? I’ve talked with some friends about it and they all say I need to go for it. But I just think that I would miss our friendship more than that I long for more than friendship. It’s just that these feelings sometimes get in the way... so any advice?

A relationship based on drunken flirting, isn't likely to be a good foundation to build on.

If I was in your shoes I would agree with username AKA and that I would not want to base a foundation off flirtations' feelings while being drunk with my best friend. I think that it is nice to feel touched and feeling affectionate but also there is a HUGE difference between friendship and relationships and I do not think that putting it all on the the line is not worth it. As I have seen very few people that go from bestfriends for years to relationship it never seems to work and or when it ends it can never turn back into friendship again. I think that it sometimes even harder in this day and age to gain friendships (especially best friends) than it is to to find gf/bf (dating). I promise you will find someone but I think that there are plenty of fish out in the sea and if the line breaks a couple of times it not a big deal. However you break the line with your best friend is never a replaceable line. If you know what I mean. I hope this helps in anyway it might do you! Wish you the best! Alex
