What did I do wrong?

I came home from work and walked upstairs where I saw my wife coming out of the bedroom. She works from home since the pandemic and so she is always downstairs in the office when I come home. She looked really tired or not feeling well so I said

Hi Skylar. Yes I'm here. I tried bringing home flowers and saying I was sorry for whatever I said yesterday, but she got mad again and said I should have known what it is that I said wrong. She had her second covid-19 shot a couple of days ago, and apparently wasn't feeling well. Because I asked "what's wrong with you, after saying hi, I didn't care about her. Now I'm "useless" as she told me after giving me back the flowers.
