Am I being unreasonable to think behaviour by 39yo was inappropriate

I met someone (a 39yo man) online through discord and we got to know eachother, he is a discord mod, and he seemed decent. We were in an LDR but it broke down, LDR isn't for me. We had spats and the period between the relationship ending and just getting back to normal lasted about ten days. Everyone in my server (not for age regressors) apart from me is a tween or early teen and they send inappropriate GIFS among other questionable GIFS and swear but as a joke. I condone it because they're all friends, don't take it seriously, and if they're going to do it they will do it and find some other place. I only ever get involved when there's a heated argument over something someone feels strongly about, and even then I give diplomatic responses. I thought me and 39yo were just starting to be friendly again, I asked him to join my discord server and pretend to be santa, the 39yo was aware of the ages, and by asking for the link I thought that meant he was agreeing. He went out of character, sending gifs such as a woman twerking on santa, and another santa themed GIF to say that he's got a hoe in every state, there's more I know he was just trying to join in, but it also felt like he was trying to get back at me. It also felt like an attempt to me jealous. When we were together, he was convinced I was jealous of him seeing others. Am I wrong to think what he did is inappropriate as it wasn't what I invited him into the server to do, I didn't expect him to behave that way around that age group when he's so much older, but am I being unreasonable I feel so irresponsible, I didn't expect that from him but I suppose I should've?

I edited some bits out, intending to move them into other paragraphs. He is a moderator in an age regression server, and my server isn't about agre regressors it's seperate I also kicked him from the server
