Been offered a new job but don’t know what to do!

Should I take this new job offer?
I’ve been accepted for a new role but I’m scared of the change. My current role is working remotely as a 1st line tech support agent, but the job is pretty dull and can be quite confrontational with calls from angry customers! The only benefit is that it’s working from home and the salary is paid weekly. Also depending on the rota it can also be unsociable hours.
The new role will open doors to learn new skills in technology. Currently the role will be based in the office and possibly will go to Hydrid at some stage. The new job isn’t local and will be required to move to another city. The city isn’t as nice where I currently live and will miss the area I’ve been living in as its what I call home. I just don’t know what to do!
I’ve tried looking for an new job in my local area but without success. I was head hunted and I just accepted the opportunity. It’s too late now to reject the offer as I’ve handed my notice in
As long as you weren't a jackass when you gave your notice, your present job should still be open to taking you back. And if you withdraw your commitment to the new job, you won't get arrested or mugged or anything like that. But of course the sooner you can make a final decision the better.
Sounds like the new job could be a good opportunity though. And who knows, you could grow to love the city you move to. Or you could just take the job for long enough to find a better job in a better location.
My strategy when making a tough decision has always been to write down the pros and cons of each side. Sometimes I'll also rank them or award them points based on significance. That way you have a visual representation to help guide you.
I think you want to go for it but the change scares you, change scares everyone. I think if you dont take it you will live to wander 'what if'. Go for it, if it doesn't work out you can always go back, its better to try and fail then to never try at all
I think any change is concerning. However, I think you should take a chance as I was in your shoes not too long ago and I took a gamble that I did NOT want to be Misérables anymore. I think remote is nice but I felt lonly and alone after awhile. I love the job I am now as I am with great people and team.
It is clear that it could not be worse than what you are dealing with now.
Take the risk and I promise you it will be worth it :) !
Good Luck!!!!!
