I got too close to my really good friend and he’s gone strange now

I was great frends with a guy who is married with kids and last summer it got a bit more where he started sending videos and photos and I started sending them back then as well. We were enjoying the flirting and he’d ring me a few times a day and we’d be constantly texting until early hrs of morning. At first we had no intentions of having sex but then started discussing it and I where it could happen etc. i kept putting it off more than him tbh but I really wanted to as he’s an attractive man who really turns me on. But last Oct/Nov I was having a hard time and prob took a lot of it out on him and there was a day where I did say something a bit hurtful and he just blanked me then for a couple weeks. We then were talking but not the same and I’m Dec he just went completely weird so I confronted him which seeing as he’s a man who shuts down and dosnt discuss feelings got nowhere but I started texting him just b4 Xmas again and was trying to get flirty as I really miss him but he’s texting but being cool- friendly but standoffish. I really want to get back to the close frendship we had but not sure will it get back to there again? Will it maybe with time?

Take the hint. Stop pursuing a married man.

I’m not looking for it to be an affair. I just miss his frendship now. It wasn’t something either of us meant to take too far but we got on so well and told each other loads of stuff so I just miss having my frend to talk to and I’m hoping we can just get back to that in time without anything else
