School crush

I have this friend that I'm pretty sure sees me as just a friend, but I like her a lot romantically. I kind of half-confessed to her and I think she either thought it was pathetic or maybe thought it was a joke. As i was walking away I looked back and she was laughing at the note I had given her. We do joke-flirt a lot but I thought this was obviously something more serious. Now it's the weekend and she hasn't reached out or texted me at all and isn't responding to my snaps, which is pretty out of character for her. I'm worried I messed up our relationship, what should I do?

Friendships are hard to ruin with such a thing as recognition. If you had a really close relationship, I think you will find a common language and solve this "problem" together. Even if she does not reciprocate, you can always remain friends. As the commentator above advised - wait and see.
