Problem with my father

My father works in the merchant navy. He has been on ship right from when I was born on and off. We only met for a few weeks that he visited and it was all fun and frolic then. Now I have grown up and studying. Early last year he switched to a shore job and now my mom and dad stay together. But living with him is difficult because now he is seeing our behaviour and does not like the way we live. He has started blaming my mother for ruining our lives and accuses her of spoiling us. My mother has given all her life to us, me, my brother and grandmother (my fathers mother). But he does not see the difficulty with which she had to bring us up practically as a single mother! Now I dont know how we should deal with my father. Please help!
