International love and committment

I met my boyfriend a year and a half ago in a third world country where we were both travelling. We started a romance then, but it was short lived after a few months when we had to return home. We are from different but neighbouring countries. We maintained a closeness, but were both living in our home countries and not in a committed relationship. I came to visit him 2 months ago, and after the first month we decided to try and make it work. I am now living with him in his country. However, I am not eligible to work here. He is supporting me completely, and though we do talk of long term plans, I am fickle and not sure I am ready for "forever". Is it wrong for me to continue living here on his dollar? Should I go back to my own country where I can work? This may mean terminating the relationship...
