Confused and don't know what to do

My girlfriend of 1 year just broke up with me(3days). The break up was my fault I have a problem with compulsive lying witch I've come to terms with and I start counseling for in a couple of days. She said she didn't want to break up me because She didn't want to be with me anymore or because she doesn't love me anymore she wanted to break up because our relationship had gotten to a point where we had to change something. She went on to say she needed space and time away from me because she can only stand so much deceit until they reach a breaking point. She was beginning to resent me and didn't look forward to seeing me. But since the break up we've been texting each other like how we were when the relationships was first new to us. We both agreed that this. But I don't know what to make of this.
