I hear all the hype about binge drinking, but don't see it as a major problem. Obviously some people can't handle their drink and start fights and stuff, but this issue has been around for ever - it is just getting more publicity now. Anyway, for those people who know how to work hard : play hard, keep up the good work!

I don't agree with binge drinking - both of my sons finish work around 3pm on a Friday and head straight for the bars in the city to get wasted. I worry about them when they don't come home at the end of the night, and they end up wasting the weekend in bed.

Think about this... research findings indicate that young people who binge drink could be risking serious damage to their brains now and increasing memory loss later in adulthood. Not only this, but adolescents may be even more vulnerable to brain damage from excessive drinking than older drinkers!

Have you seen some of the things on TV that people do when they've drunk too much? There's a programme that follows the police in different places like Sheffield, Liverpool, Glasgow etc. Instead of working to reduce serious crimes like robbery, sex offences and vandalism, the police are having to dedicate their resources to yobs who can't control themselves after drinking too much.

to use a certain amount of alcohol to just get energy is not harmful but to use it everyday can be harmful
