I think I'm in love with my best friend. I thought i was straight and she is confused about what she is. and its against my religion to be gay. But everytime i see her I want to grab her and kiss her. What do I do??

Katniss, I would try to let this play out as much as you can. You've said that your friend isn't sure what she is. If she comes to feel more comfortable with an attraction to girls, enough that she wants to act on it, only then do you need to decide what to do for yourself. At this point, the ball can remain her her court so to speak. Secondly, I know that sexuality can be scary. I'm a girl, and I am gay. It is also against my religion to be gay, but I fell in love when my best friend when I was 16. It's a love that seems pure, full of agape, and isn't driven by sexual desire. (Although it's there, don't get me wrong ;)) There are several resources online for christians who are struggling with their sexuality. One of them is gaychristian dot net. It's a forum full of LGBT people and those who are questioning- many of them come to the forum with questions like this, and they might be able to help you out in a more specific manner. First, find a new religion. One where the creator love and accepts all his creations. You are gods creation and who ever you are you are loved and accepted and don't let anyone tell you different. If you are having same sex tendencies and she is confused, take your time and allow yourselves to figure it out on your own time. Love evolves and grows deeper. Lust happens instantly. If she is confused, give her space and search else where of like mind and needs to sort your own sexual orientation and value and respect your friendship until it finds itself evolving into something else. But embrace who you are.
