My boyfriend's mother hates me... what to do?!

I have been dating my boyfriend for almost a year now (our anniversary is in like 3 weeks) and we're insanely happy...the problem is, his mother absolutely HATES me! She has her reasons, of course, mainly our age difference (I'm 26 and he's like 2 months away from being 20.) She also thinks I'm anorexic (I'm not), she thinks I took his virginity (I didn't), she disagrees with the way my parents raised me, even though she's not exactly the world's greatest mom, she thinks it's weird that I'm 26 and still in college, but hasn't bothered to ask me WHY I'm 26 and still in college (because she apparently doesn't care that we make each other happy) We know we need to talk to her about this, but we have no idea how to even bring it up...WHAT DO?!

I think you should have your boyfriend ask his mother to go on a lunch date with you two, so everything can get settled out there and she can tell you all about how she feels and maybe you can make her better understand why you and her son are going out and how much your willing to make the relationship work.
