I think I have a problem...

I'm a 22yr old female, I don't know why, but if I'm not having sex, then I'm thinking about it. I have been with my boyfriend for 5 years, & we are not sexually intimate as often as I wish we were. He will say "I'm tired", or "I'm too sore". Over the last few months, I have noticed myself day dreaming about being with other men (sexually), weather I know them, or they may even be a random person I find attractive. I do get a fair it of attention from men, for example the guy who runs the gym I go to is telling me (on very frequent basis), that there are guys who keep coming up to him & asking if he knows if I'm seeing anyone. & NOW FOR THE MAJOR ISSUE; I am actually scared that I may go & pursue one of these men, (nobody in particular though.) Surely I'm not the only one who is experiencing such a thing.. is there something wrong with me? Can somebody please give me some advice? Or even some insight as to why I feel this way. Thanks in advance.

You both have different desires it would seem. From my perspective it sounds like either he's not sexually attracted to you, you he's not a very sexual person. I suggest talking to him about it, explain how you feel. He should understand you're needs and work with you.

Hi! I agree a lot with Jacob. And I am having similar issues with my boyfriend of 10 years. You NEED to talk and talk deeply and even dark and dirty about your needs and wants. Maybe you will find that you both have similar desires that you have both been keeping to yourselves (there is a very big difference between keeping a secret and just not ever talking about it). No finger pointing, no blame game or me statements. Simply state facts and personal feelings. Try to have some solutions for your problems too and make sure you know exactly what those problems are. Write down the Who What Where When Why and Hows then go talk to him. Don't go off all half cocked on your guy, he has feelings too. Talking about sex can be hard when your relationship feels out of whack but you have to talk about the elephant in the room before he will go anywhere. It is a long road but it should be worth it. In regards to you wanting other guys. It's natural but consider if your guy was feeling the same way. If he was, what would you do to make him change his mind? He might need a confidence boost too! Two way street sister! Good luck and I hope this helps!
