Hello Everyone! So I have just entered the professional life that I have worked very hard to achieve. I joined an online dating website to find myself a potential match before I begin my work. I will start my job in a different country, very far from my country of origin hence I really want to start a happy family so I adjust well with everything. I was approached by a guy, almost 14 years older but was successful, very smart and very good looking. He initially told me that he thinks I'm a good potential match because of many reasons (he presented a very logical case). He saw my pictures, and I did the same. We were both very happy because we both liked each other. But then I told him that I will move to the country of work in a few months and I'm not currently there. He was initially disappointed that I'm not around as he was looking forward to meet me quickly. But later he was fine about and said he'll meet me when I reach. So we decided to have a video chat. For an initial encounter, I'll be honest, it went very well. He was very sweet and friendly. Since I was a bit nervous, he did the most talking. He mentioned clearly that he thought I was beautiful, intelligent and kind. We talked for 2 hours and I told him that I wont be able to talk in the coming days because I had some travel plans. He said thats cool, he wished me luck and said he will come meet me when I start my work in a few months. Next day, I came online and he came online immediately, but I had to answer a call on my phone so I didn't initiate a conversation or chat with him promptly. When I got free, I was shocked and sad beyond description that he had deleted me. I was struck bad, I truly thought he was amazing! Now I'm just having so many questions 1) He gave me his number atleast 3 times, should I contact him when I move to my place of work? 2)Do you think one should strive hard to get someone who you believe is your match? 3)I keep thinking maybe he deleted me and later inactivated his online dating account as well because he wants to wait till I finally come rather than having an online relationship, could that be? 4) Since he was a lot older, he told me he fears I wont have kids until a few years after marriage, upon which I said I'm all up for having kids soon, he seemed happy about my answer, so I question, with so many mature things we discussed and agreed upon, is it that easy for some to just lie about things and just delete me? I really need advise, I would love to chase after someone as good as him, but I have my dignity and my pride to think of as well. This matter really is killing me because I'm very sincere and sensitive. Thanks
