I really like this girl

Hello I need help and would appreciate some advice! It goes like this: this girl went to my old school before, i didnt really talk to her much and we both moved to different highschools. All of a sudden, i dont know y, but one day i was thinking about her and started feeling in love, so i thought i should talk to her or something. But i asked one of my friends and said she moved to usa (i live in canada btw). I thought i could at least message her since i like her so much. So i facebook messaged her saying "hey" it says that she saw my response but she didnt reply and went offline a few minutes after. So i was wondering, does this mean she does not like me? Should i message her again later or not give up on her? Please feel free to reply if you wish thanks a lot!

Maybe she just wasnt having a good day that day and didn't feel like talking to anyone. I would wait a week then message her again saying ' hey, I just wanted to see how you were doing?' & if she's like fine why? Then just say ' I heard you moved, that must have been tough'

hello thanks for the response man. really appreciate it but it turns out she did respond the next day but negatively. She messaged me a thumbs up sign and then said leave me alone. So what should i do next, send her a question mark? Or did she say that becuz I left my fb on when sent the thumbs up sign and got mad that i didnt reply.
