Sleepless in Kentucky

I'm nick, I'm 19 years old, and my life was torn apart a month ago. My girlfriend (Belle) decided she would leave me for my best friend (Dan). I can't sleep, or eat, and I just don't know what to do. I've recently developed feelings for a girl in my advanced chemistry class (Savannah) but I don't know if she feels the same way. I really need help!

Hi Nick, I'm new in this forum and read your post, after what you been through with your ex-girlfriend and your best friend. It's a painful experience when your best friend got involved in your pain. Not sure have you left her for good or still wondering what to do, but the answer is obvious but decision still on your own. Meeting Savannah and you have a special feelings for her, just got to be careful and ask yourself, as you had just been hurt by that relationship are you ready for another one now? Could she be just someone to replace the gap you have in your heart now? Or she could be the one you meant to be, if for me I would try to spend more time with her as a caring friend and giving myself time to heal from previous relationship and approach her when I'm certain she is the one I love, will be fair for both of you and you won't be that confuse when you are certain. When a girl have feelings for you, you able to pick up :P but no matter if she like you back, at least you tried and still there for her there's always second chance. Hope it helps. Y
